Quamby Corner is peacefully situated in Golden Valley at the foot of Quamby Bluff.  It is on the Meander Valley Great World Heritage Ride bike route, next to the Highland Lakes Road scenic route to Hobart via Great Lake and  the Great Western Tiers Touring route. Quamby Corner is the official campsite at the end of Stage 4 of the Tasmanian Trail.

Golden Valley is ideally situated to access the natural beauties of the Great Western Tiers. A short drive or taking one of the nearby walking tracks or bike trails lets you experience amazing and varied scenery. Find a local fishing spot or enjoy the iconic local attractions and produce outlets. Local attractions in nearby nature reserves, recreational areas and National Parks include:

Nestled beneath the Great Western Tiers, Golden Valley is three quarters of an hour's drive from both Launceston and Devonport and just two and a half hours from the renowned Cradle Mountain to the west and from Hobart to the south.  The nearby town of Deloraine is recognised as one of Tasmania's premier craft centres.

Quamby Corner is an ideal first or last stopping point for tourists travelling on the Spirit of Tasmania or for those picking up a rental campervan at one of Tasmania's airports.
